Structure
There are many structural features that separate Arthropods from other animals:
1. Arthropods have a segmented body This means that the body consists of more than one parts. Each part then contains a pair of appendages. 2. Usually have many legs or limbs 3. Have an exoskeleton An external skeleton, to protect and support the Arthropod's body. Some larger exoskeleton's are often called shells. 4. Are invertebrates This means that they don't have a back bone. 5. Cool Blooded Meaning that their body temperature fluctuates depending on the temperature around them. |
